Queens Park Bowling Club Wedding, November.
You know me, daft for a wee wedding at the Glasgow Registry Office – (See Here, and Here, and Here, and also Here!). So when Catherine got in touch asking me to photograph her wedding to Steven it was an immediate Yes. Then when I heard the reception was a at Queens Park Bowling Club, it was very quickly a hell yes!
After two hilarious Zoom calls to figure out the logistics of their day (Her Dad Ross loved a timeline and spread sheet!) we were good to GO! So it was off to Catherines parents house to meet their Cat named Cow and get this day rolling. Any Day that starts with a cat is a good day.
We managed to get two of the cutest first looks of all time too – First with her Dad Ross and then second with the Groom. Easily one of my favourite moments of the year. I love giving my couples a chance to slow down and take it in.
Glasgow Registry Office Wedding
So after the gorgeous wee morning prep it was onto Glasgow Registry Office at 23 Montrose Street. A slight hiccup with the rings (Forgot the grooms! But not to worry, its symbolic anyway…) it was time for Catherine & Steven to tie the know. Gorgeous wee Ceremony in the Clyde Room with their close family and friends.
We actually headed to Montrose Street earlier as the couple had a booking at The Citizen Glasgow almost immediately after the ceremony. This meant we could get some quiet time before the ceremony for a chilled out couple shoot too.

Queens Park Bowling Club Wedding
This was DIY from the ground up – It looks so awesome! The vibe was Wigan Bingo Hall, and I think they absolutely nailed it tbh. The Bride and Groom checked into their hotel whilst their guests set up the hall for them – The best way to do it!
The food was supplied by the absolutely amazing Piatta (You can find their Instagram here Piatto – Italian Street Food). Seriously some of the best wedding buffet style food ive ever had! But the absolute highlgiht of the night was Ross and his band playing a request for Stevens parents, The Smiths – Heaven Know’s I’m Miserable Now.
Amazing patter. Overall an absolutely amazing day to be honest. HUGE love for these two for letting me capture their day. THANK YOU!
