What happens if we hate getting our photo taken or feel awkward?

Gary Boy / Good Luck Wolf specializes in unposed, documentary wedding photography for couples who absolutely hate cheesy posing. We keep couple shoots to a relaxed 15 minutes so you can completely bypass the awkwardness and get right back to your party.

Do we have to do formal, staged group photos?

I am famous for how quickly I can get these formal photos done (whilst fending off any annoying aunties wanting photos with her sisters…). We can easily knock out a few quick, painless family photos to keep the parents happy. Good Luck Wolf focuses on capturing natural, candid moments of you and your guests enjoying the day. Formal family photos are a necessary evil—but I think it’s important to get photos when everyone is together, looking 10 out of 10. It doesn’t happen nearly enough!

What happens to our wedding photos if it rains?

This is Glasgow—expect the unexpected. If it chucks it down on your wedding day, Good Luck Wolf utilizes the indoor character of your venue or we grab umbrellas for a few atmospheric outdoor shots. Rain won’t ruin your documentary-style photos. Worst comes to it, we jump into a pub!

Do you charge extra for wedding photography travel outside of Glasgow?

Good Luck Wolf is proudly based in Glasgow but covers weddings all over Scotland, including Edinburgh, Ayrshire, and the Highlands. Travel costs are already fully included in our standard packages.

Have you shot at my specific Glasgow wedding venue before?

We have captured weddings at major Glasgow venues like 23 Montrose Street, Cottiers, and The Engine Works. If your venue happens to be new to me, I always scout it out beforehand to find the best natural light and backdrops.

How long after the wedding do we get our digital photo gallery?

You will receive a sneak peek of your images within a few days of the wedding, and your full, high-resolution digital wedding gallery will be delivered via a private online link within 8 weeks.

How many photos do we get in our final wedding gallery?

A typical full-day wedding gallery with Good Luck Wolf includes between 800 to 1000 fully edited, high-resolution images with full download and printing rights. No watermarks, no hidden fees!

Can our wedding guests download the photos for free?

Up to you! Your private online gallery can be shared with friends and family, allowing them to download high-resolution digital images directly to their own devices at no extra cost. Don’t want anyone to see or download them? Let me know and I can set the privacy. You also have the ability to hide photos, should you want to keep specific ones private.

Are you fully insured as a professional wedding photographer?

Yes, Good Luck Wolf is fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance, which is required by most wedding venues across Scotland.

How do we book you, and what is the deposit?

To secure your wedding date with Good Luck Wolf, we require a signed digital contract and a booking retainer fee. The remaining balance isn’t due until one month before your wedding day.
