Ashley & Thomas – The Bothy Glasgow Wedding – September

So I do loads of wee mid week weddings. I love them. 2 hours, rattle out the ceremony, formals, a quick wee couple shoot and then I’m out the couples hair! Alot of the time, though, I’m gutted I don’t get to spend more time with the couple. Ashley & Thomas very, very, very much fit into this guttedness (real word)!

We had a very quick zoom call and as soon as I seen Ashleys bright hair, leopard print outfit and Thomas’s amazing Moustache I knew I was in for an eccentric belter! They did not disappoint.

The ceremony was conducted by their pal, the Reverend Kenny! I absolutely love it when couples tie as much personal suppliers into their day as possible. I know that might sound hypocritical with me being the photographer but I always leave as a friend, so it doesn’t count!

After the ceremony the couple mad their way around The Scullery dancing with each guest and saying their thanks. It was beautiful!

Straight out to enjoy a few drinks in the sun and then onto the couple shoot. We stayed fairly close to The Bothy but hit up the classic locations like Ashton Lane. The unique style these two had fitted perfectly into the kitsch West End surroundings. They were a bloody DREAM to photograph! And as mentioned earlier, I didn’t want to leave!

Thankfully since the wedding we have remained pals, mostly talking about cats.
