Small wedding at The Bothy Glasgow – Chloe & David

One of our favourite venues in Glasgow as got to be The Bothy Glasgow, its perfect for a small wedding. The venue is located just off Byres Road (11 Ruthven Ln, Glasgow G12 9BG to be exact), with great transport links from the city centre and is about 30 seconds walk from Hillhead subway station too!

This was actually our first wedding back after Lockdown! And fair play to Chloe and David, they kept their same date. They lost their original venue and moved to The Bothy and had to scale back their numbers, but given how amazing this venue is, it was a blessing in disguise.

The day started off at both their parents house – Having two photographers means you get both preps covered. We love the difference between Chloe and the girls pampering themselves (and her Dad!) and David and the lads watching the football. (Even though their team lost….)

Onwards to The Bothy and to meet the amazing Alan Barr Humanist! One of our favourites and lovely big guy! Highly recommended.

We went for a shoot at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens (Where the bride stole a kids scooter…) and then to Ashton Lane.

The couple were thenserenaded by a bunch of steaming teens and congratulated by a big issue seller on crutches. If that doesn’t scream PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW, I don’t know what does.
