When Emily first got in touch, she told me straight: the “lovey-dovey” stuff gives them the fear. They just wanted the real deal—the ugly laughing, the happy tears, and the absolute chaos of a good dance. Honestly, that is music to my ears! It’s even better knowing they found me because one of my shots is in the Sloans wedding brochure. Talk about a full-circle moment!

The day kicked off at the family home with Emily and her “bride tribe.” Her dad, Robin, is a notorious wind-up merchant, but the jokes stopped for a minute when he saw Emily in her dress from Wed2B. Seeing him try to hide the tears was a total highlight—proof that even the biggest jokers have a soft side!

Meanwhile, Ali was over at Sloans with the lads, keeping his cool thanks to their pal and celebrant, Angela Musk. This was actually Angela’s last gig, and what a way to go out! The ceremony was pure class—honest, funny, and perfectly “them.”

From the stunning dried flowers by Hidden Botanics to the cake made with love by Emily’s sister Louise, every detail felt personal. Once the sun went down, Stephen J Elliott turned the ballroom into a proper party (Albeit a ROASTING one). There was no posing—just a room full of folk having the time of their lives.
