Kirsty has followed me for some time. I only know this cause she has one of the most hilarious Instagram names of all time. Wont share it here but Imagine your first email…. that! Respect to her for not giving up on it either! That’s brave.
Hilariously childish instagram names aside Kirsty and Joe are two of the coolest cat’s I’ve ever met. From the moment we had our first video call, I knew it was going to be a cracking wedding.
Now, I need to be honest here – I was shitting myself shooting this wedding. Why?! I hear you ask? One of my biggest influences and photographers Jo or JoPlusLiam fame was a bridesmaid! For those who don’t know, Jo shot my own wedding! So thats how highly I regard her. (She’s amazing)
So after a wee morning meditation I got in the Zone and made my way to bridal prep at a hotel just round the corner from the venue. My fear were quickly extinguished as Jo and the other bridesmaids brought the ultimate morning vibes. Seriously hadn’t laughed so much at a bridal prep all year. Top class.
I jumped down to see Joe too – I dont think I can put into words just how cool Joe is (Even if he likes Warhammer). When it was just me and him in the room you would think we were at a tranquil retreat and not his wedding day – The guy was SO chilled out it nearly put me to sleep!
The vibes from both rooms were immaculate and continued when we made our way over to Sloans.

The ceremony was conducted by the forever festive Katie MacDonald (Insta – @katiemac_humanist) rocking a sweet sequinned suit! The ceremony was perfect. I don’t think Kirsty stopped smiling the whole time. Especailly whilst walking back up the aisle to the most epic confetti shot – Look at it!
The rest of the day was spent chilling and laughing with these two and their guests. I tried to write about the actaully day but honestly, it was just like a house party! Again, immaculate vibes.
By the time the bold David Sinclair (@dj_david_sinclair) got on the wheels of steel literally EVERYONE was ready to cause carnage. And that they did! With Face/Body painting by the incredible Give Good Face (@givegoodfacepaint) making the whole thing a bit more feral. You literally couldn’t have asked for a better part.
What a f*cking wedding!
