Scottish Chinese Wedding Glasgow – Hankui & Euan – August

Hankui & Euan travelled from down south to have their wee wedding at 23 Montrose Street, Glasgow Registry Office. Bringing their friends and family from across the globe to the City Centre of Glasgow, there was a real magic in the room as both these families and cultures came together.

I shoot loads of Glasgow Registry Office weddings, so its always nice to have something a little bit different. Or in the cause of Hankui’s dress – A big bit different! Look at it! Her traditional Chinese dress is breath taking. I actually struggle to think of any words to describe it, so I’ll let the photos do the talking.

Let’s not forget the handsome Euan, of course. The smile never left his face all day. You can tell he really loves Hankui and the photos definitely showed that.

A quick round of formal photos (We photographed every one there!) and then onto our Glasgow Couple Shoot! Honestly, shooting this tall, handsome Scotsman in his kilt and his stunning Chinese bride in her traditional dress was a DREAM! The contrast between the dark Glasgow architecture and her bright red dress was incredible. More Chinese Weddings, please!

We then headed to the stunning Arta for their drinks reception. I want to take a minute to shout out the staff in Arta, they are absolutely incredible! Easily one of my favourite wedding teams and always make the day run so smoothly.

Another reason I love Glasgow Registry Office Weddings is that I get to see so many cool bars and restaurants for receptions. It also means everyones photos are that little bit different and personal to the couple – Love it!
