I have wanted to photograph a wedding at Pollokshields Burgh Hall for AGES! I actually shot here when I first starting out. So I always like to go back (Now I’m a better photographer!)

Its a lovely wee venue located in the South Side of Glasgow. Resting on the edge of the gorgeous Maxwell Park which you have accessto. Polloksheilds Burgh Hall is such a kitsch wee vibe that can be decorated as you wish. With a heavy emphasise on less is more!

With Ronit Quayle, Humanist Celebrant conducting the ceremony. Karen from Posies & Pots sorting the flowers – I knew these guys had great taste already. So was over the moon when they asked me to be their photographer.

Between you and me, dear reader, I actually thought I had messed up the Video call. But turns out having two young boys who are full of beans mixed with a groom distracted by the impending Scotland game will give you that vibe. Mhairi, Derek and the boys were brilliant. A gorgeous wee family, I got some of the most beautiful, natural shots of the 4 of them.

I always love to get family photos on a wedding day – Especially if the kids are young. I always wonder what it will be like looking back on their photos 10, 20 years later. Seeing how amazing they all looked on that special day.

And what a day it was, honestly. One of those weddings that is so chill its easy to have fun.
