Montrose Street Glasgow Registry Office Wedding • Sally & Jamie • June
For fans of the Blog (I’m sure there are many) it’s no surprise that I love a wee Glasgow Registry office 23 Montrose St wedding.
Seriously, just go search it, millions of them!
Even though I am there about 50 times a year I never get bored. Its the couples that make it. I was particularly buzzing to see Sally & Jamie as they were guests at a wedding i’d shot earlier this year.
I try and do Zoom calls with every couple before they book. Just to make sure I fit their vibe and expectations for the day. Sally’s was a bit different though….
She is a VERY active person. So the only time she could speak to me was on her way back from a cold dip in the sea! Now, I dont mind a hands free call if its the only option. However, this maniac made it a video call! So I got to watch in horror as Sally raced home in her wee motor whilst chatting to me! She didn’t look at the camera once, so fair play to her. But my heart was in my throat as she took it in her stride. That gave me an idea of how much she didn’t give any hoots!
Couples who don’t take themselves too seriously and just want to enjoy their day are my favourite. Though perhaps not as extreme as a zoom call whilst driving, thank you very much.
The sun was shining as Jamie waited patiently on Sally – Who strolled up like a true rockstar. Walking down Montrose Street with her entourage.

Montrose Street Glasgow Kelvin Room
A quick wee ceremony in The Kelvin Room with the amazing John and his gorgeous wee Bow Tie and it was time to head back out into the sun for some family photos, and more importantly, the couple shoot!
We floated about the town in the glorious sunshine and then headed off to Glasgow own taste of the Mediterranean – The Gorgeous Arta on Albion street in the Merchant Square

One of my favourite things at the end of a wedding is when the couple, particularly the groom, tells me how much they enjoyed the shoot.
I really wish I could convince everyone, brides and grooms alike, just how easy it is! Thankfully ive had some incredible Google Reviews recently, so if you don’t believe me – Beleive them!
I also offer engagement/couple shoots for anyone who is unsure. So if you’re thinking about booking and want to do a test run – GEEZ A SHOUT
