Eileen & Barclay’s Intimate One Devonshire Gardens Wedding • February
Eileen & Barclay’s Intimate One Devonshire Gardens Wedding
When you’ve both been down the aisle before, a wedding stops being about host duties and becomes entirely about love. For Eileen and Barclay, their February celebration wasn’t something they had to do—it was something they wanted to do. If you are dreaming of a luxury One Devonshire Gardens wedding, their day is the ultimate blueprint for keeping things personal, stylish, small but full of heart.
Set inside the stunning Hotel du Vin in Glasgow’s West End, this micro-wedding brought together a close-knit group of their own children and closest friends. Celebrant Claire Digance gave us a story in the way only she can – Exciting, emotional, heartlfet and hilarious. Though the absolute star of the show was their little granddaughter, Freya. Mid-vows, suddenly shouted “I’M STUCK!”. As her wee foot had been caught under the radiator! Absolutely amazing (Once we realised she was ok) and a first for me! Incredble stuff.
The venue looked incredible thanks to gorgeous floral arrangements by Rose n’ Thyme. Eileen looked effortlessly radiant with styling by the amazing Jenna Clayton Makeup and Hair, complementing the boutique charm of the hotel’s Victorian townhouses.
After a delicious dinner, they kept things iconic, no frills Marks & Spencer wedding cake! Before The Hustle Wedding Band kicked off an unbelievable evening of dancing.
Eileen and Barclay proved that a One Devonshire Gardens wedding doesn’t need a 200-person guest list to feel massive. Cheers to the happy couple!
