Glasgow City Chambers Wedding • Eve & Ronnie • May

For all the weddings I’ve done in Glasgow, particularly the Registry Office on Montrose Street, I had yet to shoot in the actual main City Chambers building. UNTIL NOW!

Not to be confused with 23 Montrose Street, this wedding was actually in the main building on George Square, in The Satinwood Suite.

And let me tell you – It did not disappoint. Gorgeous big ceremony room, a lovely wee room behind for a drinks reception and the the most incredible marble staircase. The Stair case is a bit of a White Whale for me. So to finally shoot a couple in there was really special. Just look how effortlessly epic these guys look. Unreal

Satinwood Suite, Glasgow

The Satinwood Suite inside Glasgow City Chambers is gorgeous. The walls are lined with a rare Australian Satinwood – Giving the room is warm, golden glow. The mid day sun shining through from George Square filled the room with a warmth that matched the vows of these two.

I really hope this isn’t the last time I get to shoot in the City Chambers or Satinwood Suite.

Outside is the famous Marble Stair Case which allegedly has more marble than the Vatican! Incredible stuff. A total hidden gem within Glasgow City Centre.

After the wedding it was off to the incredible Sylvan, Glasgow – Located on Woodlands road in the West End.

A perfect location for a vegan or vegetarian wedding dinner reception.
