Crossbasket Castle Wedding Photography • Simran & Matt • November

Crossbasket has always been on my hitlist for quite some time. But as the old saying goes, bookings are like buses and two bookings came along at the same time!

Even though not all weddings are planned within about 8 months, Simran and Matt showed no fear as they booked their November date and contacted me about photographing their wedding..

Simran’s family are originally from the Punjab. They brought a much needed flourish of colour to the leafy suburbs of East Kilbride on a cold November afternoon.

Seriously, these guys and their families are absolutely incredible. The warmth and love throughout the whole day was incredible. It really felt like you were at an old family house party. No easy feat at a wedding let alone one that crosses continents.

Added to the fact there was a serious who’s who of suppliers on their day. Seriously, some of the best folk I know including Andrew D Scott Celebrant, Charlotte Sager Harpist, Eileen at Sugar 8 Weddings and loads of others ill list below!

The best thing about this wedding as just how in love and in the moment this couple were. A lesser person might have been caught up by all the nationalities, friends, family, and clashing cultures. But, like the couple, it meshed together perfectly.
