Sarah & David • Cottiers Glasgow Wedding Photography • April
I love shooting weddings at Cottiers Glasgow. Mostly cause its where I grew up underage drinking at The Rock on Hyndland Road…. So when Sarah & David got in touch it was an immediate AYE!
Cottiers is a cracking venue – A former church that’s been beautifully converted into a vibrant events space in the heart of Glasgow’s West End.
With a pub inside the venue guest can arrive as early as they wish. Theres also a spacious courtyard if the weather allows it – Absolutely love it when the drinks reception spills out here. The buzz in the enclosed space after a wedding is amazing.
Huge shout out to the Wedding Coordinator Erin who is cool, calm and collected on the day. Exactly what you need! All my couples have said how magic she is on the run up too – More supplier like this please!
The ceremony takes place in the main nave of the church. The stained-glass windows, vaulted ceilings, and exposed brickwork provide a gorgeous backdrop. It’s gritty and its Glasgow without being too pristine (So you can tell why I like it!)
This style might not be for everyone, but it’s certainly for the couples I like to book and for my style of photography. I say it time and time again. Only book me if you are the type of couple who doesn’t take themselves too seriously, will laugh off any problems and just want to party with your people
And thats exactly what Sarah, David and their absolute mad squad did in April!
Cracking couple and an absolutely cracking wedding!
