Right, this one was a wee bit special, especially since the brilliant couple, Amy and Jacob, are literally neighbours from the East End. We’re talkin’ young, cool Glesga folk who decided to have their big party at the stunning Boclair House Hotel in Bearsden.
From the minute the ceremony finished, you could tell this wasn’t going to be your usual wedding. The whole day had the energy of a classic Subby or Art School club night: pure cool folk, letting their hair down, and pints flowing freely. It was a proper young crowd, and they were there to give it absolutely everything!
Celebrant Anne Fraser set the perfect tone—no faff, just love and good times. The style was spot on, too, with Amy rocking a dress from Aimee Bridal Couture. The florals were class, with Botany and Brass sorting the girls’ bouquets and Irene’s Florist handling the buttonholes and tables.
Once the lights dimmed, the party truly started. The band, The Socials, got the floor packed instantly. It was a full-on night of dancing, pure chaos, and good vibes. Amy and Jacob, you nailed it. What a belter of a party right on my doorstep (well, almost!).
